This charming winter scene depicts a Christmas evening in my Hometown of Tickhill covered in Snow at Christmas Time and includes my passion of wildlife with the inclusion of a Robin Red breast.
The vision of the Huge Christmas tress alongside the Buttercross Monument adorned in twinkling fairy lights is a beautiful sight especially every Christmas Eve when the community traditionally gathers around to sing carols and the gaze of small children turns to the sky to spot Santa’s sleigh. It’s simply a magical moment especially after a fresh fall of crisp Winter Snow.
