An expressive Study of of one of the many Mallard Ducks who reside at my local pond, they are such comical creatures who provide endless entertainment. i am always captivated by their iridescent colourful feathers. Many days during my children's early years they were a regular stop off point as part of the daily routine. 

this small paper sketch was created using ink, watercolour and pastel. it is mounted in a grey aperture.
