I painted this Dragonfly after having several extraordinary sightings of the fascinating creatures in 2018, it must have been a very good summer for them, although the spiritual side of me is more inclined to be tempted to believe that my late father was around me.
"It Is colour which seduces me, how they harmonise and contrast. Nature and the natural world around me is my muse. I express its beauty using fluid lines, expressive forms and sumptuous colours."
