Rich Autumnal colour tones of the rural landscape close to my home. This is a group of trees situated parallel to a lane I often Run down. One Moring in early October 2020 the rusty shades against the harvested field were so stunning it inspired this piece.
The painting was created using acrylic paint for the underpainting on a Red ground. I then over painted with Oils in layers.
