One Gallery door closes and Another One opens!

One Gallery door closes and Another One opens!

So last Saturday saw the conclusion of my 5 week solo show exhibition at the Raven Art gallery and then this Saturday was the commencement of my 4th Solo show exhibition of the year! this time held at The D31 Art Gallery in Doncaster.
The exhibition was launched with a lovely private Artists party along side the Galleries Summer Open Exhibition. The spacious 3 story city Center Gallery was filled to the brim with Artists and their guests, wine, nibbles and music mixed with a lovely summer’s evening created a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy the diversity of artworks from over 200 talented artists from all over the globe showcasing their art in the gallery’s summer exhibition. Obviously I’m very proud to have 20 of my wildlife collection paintings displayed along side such talent.
midway through the event Chinwe Russell the gallery curator gave an inspiring speech to welcome everyone to the Gallery and to congratulate the others artists on their successful submission. She then introduced myself and my solo show artwork and I’m not going to lie I could feel my face blushing at her compliments, she then invited me to speak to the full room. The introvert that I am could have quite easily hidden behind the crowd but as ever I slapped on my smile , took a deep breath and did my very best to project a confident monologue without too much rambling.
Both exhibitions (my solo and summer show) run untill the 5th August 2022. The gallery is open 10:00-4:00 Wednesday-Sunday.
