Today I spent a lovely few hours in the delightful company of the poet Ian Parks who was overseeing the running of the Gallery space for the day. I spent my time in residence at the gallery chatting away to Ian whilst I worked on my current painting of a giraffe. We had some very interesting and somewhat humerus conversations of many subjects most definitely putting the world to rights together. Ian is a great asset to the Raven giving his time to support the Gallery and definitely bringing a spirit of community.
It was also a great experience to be nestled in and to see people wondering through the gallery to view my artwork and to talk with them about my paintings. I’m looking forward to my next visit again soon in a couple of days, hopefully the Giraffe painting will be finished and ready to hang alongside the rest of the colourful tribe.
